Any study that assigns human subjects prospectively to one or more health interventions to assess the effects of the results. A clinical trial further relates to any Intervention Trial. Interventions include, but are not limited to, drugs, cells and other biological products, surgical procedures, radiation procedures, devices, behavioral treatments, changes in the process of medical care, preventive care, etc. This definition includes all trials from the phase I to phase IV.
